– Albinoni is best known for his instrumental music, particularly his concertos for oboe and string orchestra. His most famous work is the Adagio in G minor, which is often used in films and television shows.

– Despite his success as a composer, Albinoni was not a full-time musician. He continued to work in his family’s paper business throughout his life, and he also served as a diplomat for the Venetian Republic. He died in Venice in 1751 at the age of 79.
